Prevention with Fluoride
TIM Dent Zivanovic specialist can not stress this enough: preventing cavities is crucial for the oral health of our little patients.
One of the ways in which we can apply prevention in our practice, is to use fluoride varnish and this can be applied to both baby teeth and children’s teeth. It involves painting a varnish that contains high levels of fluoride onto the tooth surface approx every 6 months to prevent decay. Fluoride can greatly help dental health by strengthening tooth enamel, making it more resistant to tooth decay!
